MultiPack-Truck/Container Loading
Equally dimensioned cuboid or cylindrical products are to be loaded in containers or on a truck? The standard version of MultiPack reliably maximizes the use of the cargo space.
The load plan shown here for a 20-foot container is the best possible, provided that the cuboid package is to be loaded with only one vertical orientation.
If further vertical orientations in the loading space are permitted, further degrees of freedom result with regard to the optimization of loading space utilization.
The following load plan for a 40-foot container uses all 3 possible vertical orientations. Here, the layered arrangement of the packages is discarded.
If equally dimensioned cylindrical packages are to be loaded, MultiPack calculates, for example, the easily implemented load plan for a 40-foot container shown in the following figure.
